Anchor Links
Anchor links are links that scroll to a specific header. You can access anchor links by hovering over a heading or subheading, and taping the link icon.
Step 1: Turn on Anchor Links
On a computer, open a site in new Google Sites
In the top navigation, tap Settings icon (⚙)
On the left, choose Viewer Tools
Under Anchor Links, toggle Show Anchor Links
Page Last Updated Time
You can show the page's last updated time in the info icon located in the bottom left corner of your published site.
Step 1: Turn on Page Last Updated Time
On a computer, open a site in new Google Sites
In the top navigation, tap Settings icon (⚙)
On the left, choose Viewer Tools
Under Anchor Links, toggle Show Page Last Updated Time

Announcements Banner Settings in Google Sites
Announcements Banner
You can add a banner above your site content, customize it with a message, a button and background color.
Step 1: Turn on Announcements Banner
On a computer, open a site in new Google Sites
In the top navigation, tap Settings (⚙)
On the left, choose Announcements Banner
Under Show Banner, toggle Announcements Banner
Step 2: Customize your banner
Add a message
Add a link button
Change its background color
Choose its visibility settings
